A Tropical Inspired Resort / Cruise 2021 Capsule Collection
This years Mochachino Resort Capsule collection draws its inspiration from various tropical destinations such as Bora Bora, Turks & Caicos and or course our very own South Florida!
Boasting bold and vibrant colors and patterns, I set out to design a capsule collection that visually entices with an attention to detail on comfort!
For my women’s collection it had to be easy relaxed fluid jumpsuits, sexy two piece bikinis and chic day attire!
For my men’s collection I wanted to use more vivid hues that are normally marketed to women such as fuchsia, I feel that color isn’t gender specific anymore, nature actually holds ownership of the hues we have come to love! And as such color isn’t always definitive by gender in the natural order. Pink flamingos can be male or female and yet with peacocks it’s the male that dons the bright hues of the color spectrum.
With that concept in mind I wanted to create items such as, matching short sets and swimwear that depicted that message, while maintaining a masculine sex appeal. Since the brand has a sizable clientele that either live in tropical climate locales or does international travel I designed this collection with them in mind.
Comfortable, vibrant, pack friendly and fabulous!
I also had the opportunity to welcome back Nikolas Guevara, a brand favorite to model the new designs and new face, the Dominican beauty, Maria Jose.
